UltraSound Pictures and Video
As promised, The UltraSound pictures and video’s are below.
On Thursday My wife and I went to the doctor’s office for her second UltraSound, I missed the first one because I had no idea they where going to give her one. So I was definitely going to be there for this one. I could hardly make out the pictures my wife brought home from the last UltraSound so I wanted to be sure that I took some movies of this one.
During the UltraSound we received some exciting news. Chloe was not a girl but was a boy! This caught my wife and I both off guard as during the last UltraSound she was told that we where having a girl.
Daniel Lynn Bates will be my first child and I couldn’t be happier, a girl would have made me just as happy but I am glad to know that the sex is now 99% sure. The technician said that it is easy to mistake a boy for a girl but hardly ever had she seen a girl mistaken as a boy. The baby is healthy weighing in at a little over 3 lb. 12-oz. he is also pointed head down and ready to be delivered.
It is fun watching my wife with the baby she takes every kick and movement to heart and even when it causes her a great deal of discomfort she always says “He can kick me wherever he wants so long as he kicks.” In fact I don’t believe that she has stopped glowing since she took that first pregnancy test.
I have a lot of work cut out for me and have a small fear of what’s to come. But I know and have said on many occasions that between me and my wife we can handle anything that comes our way.
Thank you lord for blessing us with this child; I promise to keep him as you would your own son. I promise to love him as you love me, unconditionally.
