The New Car
Hi,
I hate shady dealers especially the ones that will not answer questions about the car you are thinking of purchasing. I have dealt with dealers like this all of my life because I did not think I had a choice… Intro CarMax.
CarMax was different and I don’t know how other dealers can make money anymore with such a great place to buy used cars from. They gave me the price up front, was friendly, and the person I spoke with didn’t have to run off every 5 seconds to check with his sales manager about something. I have no bad things to say about my shopping experience with CarMax.
Now on to the car… I purchased a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser for well under value, it had 19,000 miles on it and is pearl white. The inside was immaculate, and I bought it off the showroom floor. (I am trying to get CarMax to send me the pictures).
I love the new car, and the service I recieved from them.

Snow in Greensboro Takes Weather People by Suprise!
Last weekend I was wearing shorts and telling the wife that winter was probably over for us… Well I was wrong.
Last night about 9:30 EST we had an almost white-out and when everything was said and done there was about 2 inches of snow on the ground. I wasn’t expecting it at all because the trusty weather reporter on the way to work never mentioned it and now they are all stumped as to why they didn’t catch it.
Got some cool pictures thought.

A totally random pic of the dude for good measure.
Thanks

Virtual Appliances By R-Path
R-Path host a ton of virtual appliances to run under VMWare , Virtual PC, and other Linux derivatives.
This site has saved me countless hours by providing both a WordPress and MoinMoin wiki testing server fully configured and ready to go. These virtual appliances make testing CSS layouts or some subtile apache change a breeze and much safer than trying to replicate the server yourself.
Another item that I like is that I don’t seem to get as many errors with R-Path’s virtual appliances like I do with VMWare’s appliances.
I definatly recomend checking out R-Path.
Mum, Mum, Mum
My wife has been very jealous that the baby looks exactly like me every since he was born. People would stop and ask her if he was indeed hers. Well, now she has one up on me. She got the first word.
Yesterday morning Daniel began babbling blah, blah, da, blah… it was like a light switch had went off and he had always been able to do it. Both the wife and I sat for a good half an hour listening to him ramble on before we said anything to each other for fear he would stop. He now goes on non-stop babbling in his baby language. We couldn’t tell what he was saying.
This morning after we both thought we had had our suprise of the weekend Daniel said Momma. I was washing bottles and the wife was sitting on the couch watching Daniel play in his MacDaddy walker and I guess he was ready to get out because he babbled a few times Mum, Mum, Mum and when she didn’t jump up to get him he shouted Mommy, plain as day. We both rushed to get him and snuggle him up but I must admit now I am the one who is jealous as he has been calling for Mommy all day and hasn’t peeped Da’Da or Daddy once :@
Theres always tomorrow and I know it won’t be long now.

Pictures from Mommy & Daniel’s Trip to Floyd
Daniel and Jess took a trip up to Floyd this week and left me alone for two days. I missed them terribly, but they did get some cute photos…
